Police search for suspect in sexual assault at Lake Ridge Food Lion

Police are searching for a Dumfries man in connection with a sexual assault Aug. 20 at the Lake Ridge Food Lion.

Police responded to the store in Dilligham Square at 9:09 p.m. for a report of a sexual assault, Prince William County police Sgt. Erin Noble said in a news release.

A 35-year-old employee reported being approached by an unknown man who inappropriately touched her and grabbed her arm, then left the area in a vehicle.  

Police later obtained arrest warrants charging 41-year-old Matthew Steven Porcelli of Dumfries with sexual battery and assault and battery, but attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful, Noble said. No wanted photo was available.
