SINTON — Woodsboro went 1-2 in pool play Friday, Aug. 21, at the Sinton Tournament, opening with a straight-set win before dropping its final two matches.

The Lady Eagles defeated Roma 25-15, 25-17 to begin the day.

Woodsboro then pushed Laredo Martin to three sets but fell 25-21, 15-25, 27-25.

The Lady Eagles closed pool play with a 25-13, 25-7 loss to Sharyland.
