Waffle House site permit approved

Waffle House is one step closer to opening in Liberty Hill after its site permit was approved Sept. 8.

The new restaurant is planned for 11834 Hwy. 29, adjacent to McDonald's, Taco Bell and the currently under construction Take 5 Oil Change and Gerber Collision & Glass. 

Plans were submitted Sept. 4 by Contineo Group and call for construction of a new Waffle House at the site.

Previous state filings listed the restaurant at approximately 1,840 square feet with an estimated construction cost of $300,000. Those filings also indicate an estimated opening of December 2026 for the restaurant.
