Texarkana Museum Systems, TexRep feature 'Moments that Made US'
TEXARKANA, Texas - In celebration of America's 250, the Texarkana Museums System partnered with the Texarkana Repertory Co. to present "Living Histories: Moments That Made US" at the Ace of Clubs House Saturday morning.

TEXARKANA, Texas - In celebration of America's 250, the Texarkana Museums System partnered with the Texarkana Repertory Co. to present "Living Histories: Moments That Made US" at the Ace of Clubs House Saturday morning.
Parts played included Olivia Smith Moore, the final resident of the Ace of Clubs home; Bessie Coleman, the first African American to hold a pilot's license; and businessman and politician Ross Perot, to name a few.
"This is the 'Moments That Made US' exhibit, celebrating America's 250," said TMS Executive Director Ana Wyllis. "The exhibit celebrates the moments that made the United States and also moments that made Texarkana and put Texarkana on the national stage as well. There are different panels here at the Ace of Clubs talking about different people and moments that made Texarkana and the United States what it is today. "
Humanities Texas produced and funded the exhibit.
A second "Moments That Made US" presentation is scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m.
