Gentri Gutierrez Named 158th Washington County Fair Queen
BRENHAM — Gentri Gutierrez was crowned the 158th Washington County Fair Queen on opening night , Sept. 12, at the Washington County Expo.

Gutierrez, a junior at Brenham High School representing Washington County 4-H, is the daughter of Savannah and Matt Gutierrez. She is the granddaughter of Jody Schulz and the late Larry Schulz, as well as Terry and Matt Gutierrez.
Barnes Koehl, also a junior at Brenham High School, was named first runner-up. Koehl represented Brenham FFA and is the daughter of Destre and Blaine Koehl. Her grandparents are Patsy and Rayburn Klussmann, along with Deloris and Billie Koehl.
Brooke Mulder took home both individual category honors, winning the Interview Award and the Essay Award. Mulder is a junior at Brenham High School representing Washington County 4-H. She is the daughter of Rheagan Mulder and the granddaughter of Randy Gaskamp and the late Tina Gaskamp.
Established in 1868, the Washington County Fair holds the distinction of being the oldest county fair in Texas. The annual event focuses on promoting agriculture, horticulture, and home economics while providing scholarships and educational support to local youth.
