RICHARDSON, Texas — Houston native Regan Hutsell took home the crown at the 2026 Miss Texas pageant on Saturday night.
The state competition concluded its week-long event with the final coronation ceremony at the Charles W. Eisemann Center for Performing Arts in Richardson. Hutsell competed with the local title of Miss Houston and won over the selection committee with a dance performance during the talent portion of the scholarship competition.
A former Radio City Rockette, Hutsell inherits the title from Miss Texas 2025 Sadie Schiermeyer of Frisco.
With her victory on Saturday, Hutsell will represent the Lone Star State on the national stage when she competes for the title of Miss America 2027 later this September.
