Aransas Pass hosting fundraiser for veteran suicide awareness, prevention
The City of Aransas Pass is inviting community members to come together for an event aimed at raising awareness and prevention of veteran suicide, according to an announcement from the city.
The City of Aransas Pass is inviting community members to come together for an event aimed at raising awareness and prevention of veteran suicide, according to an announcement from the city.
Aransas Pass said in an Aug. 22 announcement the city will host the 22 FOR HOPE Veteran Suicide Prevention Walk, Run & Ruck on Sept. 26 at Conn Brown Harbor.
According to the city, the event is dedicated to honoring veterans, remembering those lost, raising awareness for suicide prevention, and showing support for veterans and their families. Opening ceremonies will take place at 9:30 a.m., with the Walk, Run, and Ruck set to kick off at 10 a.m.
