Lewisburg, Pa. — Gov. Josh Shapiro is scheduled to be in Union County on Saturday for a canvass kickoff with local Democrats.

The stop is set for 11 a.m. Aug. 22, in Lewisburg. The campaign did not release a public street address. It is part of a three-county swing that also includes Lebanon at 1:30 p.m. and Reading at 3:30 p.m.

A Shapiro for Pennsylvania advisory said the governor will rally volunteers to knock doors ahead of the November midterms. Space is limited, and the campaign said only credentialed media will be allowed in.
