A Reading murder suspect is back in Berks County after being arrested earlier this month in New York City.

Vincent Sanchez, 33, is now in Berks County Jail.
Authorities say he shot Ellis Garman on July 21, 2023 at S. Sixth and Cherry streets in downtown Reading.
Sanchez is charged with first-degree murder, and other related offenses.
A preliminary hearing is set for May 24.
