Today, Montana saw highs return to the 80s and 90s state-wide. Billings saw some of the hottest conditions today to the mid-90s. Afternoon rain and isolated thunderstorms returned to the southwest this afternoon, before phasing east this evening. No Watches, Warnings, or Advisories are in place for Montana this evening. 

Overnight tonight, we forecast isolated storm activity phasing east before clearing for a calm Monday morning. There is a chance for more thunderstorm activity to develop Monday afternoon. Dry weather is forecast for Tuesday, aside from thunderstorms expected in the southeast. More shower and storm potential remains in our forecast for Wednesday. 

Lows tonight are forecast to reach mild lows in the 50s in western and central Montana and 60s in Billings, the eastern plains, and northern Wyoming. Highs tomorrow are projected to return to the 70s in Great Falls, Helena, and Butte, while Missoula, Billings, and Bozeman should return to the 80s. 

Over the coming 7 days, some of the region could bounce back to the 90s by Wednesday. Mostly dry weather is forecast for this week, with a chance for storms Wednesday. Our 8-14-day outlooks suggest warmer and wetter than average weather on the way.
