Tales 4 Tails, Bitterroot Humane Association hosts children's summer reading event
HAMILTON, Mont. – The Bitterroot Humane Association (BHA) hosts a Tales 4 Tails children’s reading event at their animal shelter from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on July 7.
HAMILTON, Mont. – The Bitterroot Humane Association (BHA) hosts a Tales 4 Tails children’s reading event at their animal shelter from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on July 7.
Due to record adoptions, the reading event will be held in the cat room. Kids of all ages are encouraged to bring a book by, snuggle up in the cat zone and read a story to cats. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
The event helps build reading skills for kids while providing companionship to shelter animals at the BHA. The BHA encourages kids to bring a book of their choice or choose one from the shelter’s library.
Children will receive a punch card for any future visits to read to animals. A giftcard can be redeemed to the local bookstore or toy store once the card is filled out.
