Power restored after campus wide power outage at University of Montana

Power has been restored to all university buildings, according to UM.

The University of Montana said power was restored to most of the campus, with the exception of part of the center loop. 

It also said its facilities team was still working to identify and fix the issue.

"We appreciate your patience," the university wrote in its update. 

MISSOULA, Mont. – Power is out campus wide at the University of Montana, according to an alert from the university.

UM said crews were working to determine the cause and restore power.

“It is unkown how long it will taje to get the power back. We will provide more information as it becomes available,” the university said in its alert.
