A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle on Montana Highway 1 on Friday morning in Anaconda.
Montana Highway Patrol responded just before 5 a.m. at mile marker 6, where a Ford Mustang going southbound struck a pedestrian.
David Andrew Boucher Jr., 61, was pronounced dead on the scene, according to an MHP spokesperson. The car's driver, a 34-year-old female, sustained no injuries.
The accident remained under investigation, MHP said.
