MDT reminds Montanans to keep waterways clear
MONTANA -- The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) reminded Montanans to help protect the waterways of their communities.

These precautions make sure that pollutants do not reach storm sewer systems.
The MDT asked never to pour motor oil, antifreeze or gas down a storm drain.
Grass clippings or leaves should not be blown into the streets. Clogs may occur in drains.
Paint, cleaners and chemicals should be kept away from ditches and gutters.
Only rain should go down the drain.
