Bozeman plans ahead for 3,000-acre area on city edge

BOZEMAN, Mont. – The City of Bozeman said it was aware of building maintenance issues at the Stadium View Apartments.

“Officials have worked to ensure that the property management company will address these concerns,” the City wrote in a press release.

It said Bozeman Fire and Building Division officials were “closely involved” with Stadium View’s construction to ensure structural safety.

“We empathize with residents who are being displaced by this construction at a challenging time,” City Manager Chuck Winn said in the City’s release. “There is never a good time to receive this information from your property management company. However, the Stadium View residents’ safety is paramount, and it is safest for these buildings to be vacant while the work to repair them is completed.”

The City said in its release that it would prioritize the Stadium View project for permit review and inspections and would “provide any needed support to ensure these buildings are compliant with regulations and safe for all residents.”
