BOZEMAN, Mont. — Bozeman Fire shared new information about the Gallatin Valley Fire Academy after the program wrapped up this week.

According to the Bozeman Fire Facebook page, recruits spent 10 weeks at the academy in Bozeman training for the job.

The group studied firefighter safety and survival. They also took part in live scenario training and other exercises.

Participants graduated during a ceremony on June 18 and moved into work as probationary firefighters.
