BUTTE, Mont. — The Bureau of Land Management is offering a $500 reward for information about vandalism at the John G Trailhead in the Scratch Gravel Hills Recreation Area.

A BLM press release said staff found graffiti with inappropriate language on rocks near the trailhead while checking the site. The agency said its law enforcement team was investigating.

“We’re asking for the public’s help. These recreation areas belong to everyone, and vandalism like this impacts the entire community,” said Chad Robinson, BLM law enforcement officer.

Anyone with information was encouraged to email BLM law enforcement  or call 406-533-7600.
