Belgrade shooting suspects named as deputies seek public tips
BELGRADE, Mont. — Gallatin County deputies have identified two Belgrade suspects after a shooting on Woodman Drive and said the case did not pose an ongoing danger to the public.
BELGRADE, Mont. — Gallatin County deputies have identified two Belgrade suspects after a shooting on Woodman Drive and said the case did not pose an ongoing danger to the public.
The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office shared in a Facebook post that deputies responded on the afternoon of Sunday, June 21, 2026. The victim was taken to Bozeman Deaconess Regional Medical Center, treated and later released.
Authorities have not released the victim's name.
Investigators identified the suspects as Vincent Louie Herrera, 38, and Vanessa Herrera, 33, both from Belgrade. Deputies said the shooting appeared to be an isolated case and said both suspects seemed to have left the state.
Vincent Louie Herrera was wanted on a charge of attempted deliberate homicide. Vanessa Herrera was also wanted on a charge of obstructing justice.
The sheriff's office said it was working with local, state and federal agencies to find the two suspects.
