Person who fell off balcony at Harpo's is in critical condition, Columbia police say
A Columbia police officer told a KOMU 8 News reporter that someone fell off the balcony at Harpo's Sunday night and is in the hospital in serious condition.
COLUMBIA — A Chilicothe man is in critical condition Sunday night after falling off the balcony at Harpo's Bar and Grill at 29 S. 10th St. in Columbia.
A large police presence was seen outside of the bar since at least 9:20 p.m.
Anthony Bowne, a lieutenant with the Columbia Police Department, told a KOMU 8 News reporter on scene that someone fell off the balcony at around 9:05 p.m. and is in the hospital.
CPD spokesperson Brian McNeill told KOMU 8 that the victim is in critical condition.
The scene of the incident was cleared by 10:43 p.m.
