A 15-year-old boy from Bland was airlifted with serious injuries from a UTV crash in Gasconade County Saturday night.

The boy was driving a Can-Am UTV in a field near 716 Missouri 28 in Bland, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

Around 7:15 p.m., the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and overturned on the driver's side, according to the report.

The teen was airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident, according to the crash report.

The UTV sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene, according to the report.
