Update: Missing man located and safe

Shreveport police have informed KTBS that William Price has been found and he is safe. Price is being checked out by the Shreveport Fire Department and being transported for an evaluation.

SHREVEPORT, La. — Local authorities are requesting assistance from the community to locate a missing man.

William Price, 29, was last seen around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday leaving a facility where he lives in the 1700 block of Irving Place.

Price is described as a white man with brown hair and a beard. He is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds. Authorities noted that he has a history of medical and mental health concerns and may have difficulty communicating.

Although Price uses an all-black wheelchair, he is capable of walking short distances. He was last seen wearing a light blue T-shirt along with a dark blue sweatshirt and dark blue sweatpants.

Anyone who sees Price or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact the Shreveport Police Department immediately.
