Two men wounded in Heflin shooting
HEFLIN, La. - Two men reportedly suffered multiple gunshot wounds in an incident which occurred at a home near Heflin just after 4 p.m. Friday.
HEFLIN, La. - Two men reportedly suffered multiple gunshot wounds in an incident which occurred at a home near Heflin just after 4 p.m. Friday.
Sheriff Jason Parker said the two men were taken to a Shreveport hospital, where they are listed in critical condition.
Parker said deputies responded to the reported shooting in the 1800 block of state Highway 792 in Heflin.
“The shooter turned himself in to deputies shortly afterward,” Parker said. “Detectives are still investigating the circumstances.”
Names of the victims and the shooter have not been released pending further investigation.
