Texarkana man arrested after allegedly sending death threats to police

TEXARKANA, Texas — A Texarkana man has been arrested in Dallas after allegedly sending death threats to local law enforcement.

Texarkana police say Darrell Williams reportedly sent messages to the department’s Facebook page threatening to shoot up the station and kill an officer.

According to authorities, the messages specifically targeted Public Information Officer Shawn Vaughn and his family.

Williams was arrested in Dallas and is charged with terroristic threats.
