SHREVEPORT, La. — KTBS 3 had some unexpected visitors Monday morning.

A group of two whistling ducks and about 20 ducklings waddled across the parking lot and brought some excitement to the station.

Some ducklings fell into a storm drain and sent staff on a rescue mission.

Anchor Nate Fluharty and the news team jumped in to move the grate and save the ducklings.

The ducklings were reunited with their flock, safely crossing the road to swim in the bayou.
