Shreveport Parks and Recreation announced it is opening three city pools beginning Tuesday at 1 p.m. The locations ready for swimmers include Bill Cockrell, David Raines and Querbes pools.
To celebrate the seasonal start, ribbon-cutting ceremonies were scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.
City officials expect to expand the available locations soon. Airport Park and Southern Hills pools are scheduled to join the list of open facilities by June 30.
