SHREVEPORT, La. — The Shreveport Police Department is seeking a Bossier City man accused of making a threat against a Shreveport police officer in a TikTok video.

Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Al Jewel Myles III, 21, after an officer reported receiving a TikTok video on Aug. 6 that detectives believe contained a direct threat toward him, according to police.

Police said the video showed an individual traveling behind a marked law enforcement vehicle while threatening text referencing the officer appeared on the screen.

During the video, the camera briefly panned downward, revealing what appeared to be the grip of a semi-automatic firearm before returning toward the marked police vehicle, according to investigators.

Detectives identified the TikTok account associated with the video as @ohhchaser and identified Myles as the suspected creator of the account and video, police said.

Myles is wanted on charges of cyberstalking and threatening a public official.

Police said threats against law enforcement officers, including those made through social media, are investigated and may result in criminal charges when supported by evidence.
