Shreveport police seek attempted murder suspect

An arrest warrant has been issued for Michael Deondre Wilson, 42, for attempted second-degree murder.
He's accused in a shooting that happened Saturday in the area of Portland Avenue and Lakeshore Drive. Officers arrived to find a female suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was provided emergency medical care by the Shreveport Fire Department then taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Shreveport Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit detectives took over the investigation and collected evidence at the crime scene. They developed leads identifying Wilson as the shooting suspect.
