Shreveport police investigating fatal crash

Just after 6 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a crash in the 5800 block of Fern Avenue near Business Park Drive.
Officers found a 2012 Fiat 500 overturned on its side.
The Shreveport Fire Department responded and extinguished a small fire in the vehicle's engine compartment and extracted the driver who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Caddo Parish Coroner identified the victim as Anna Lisa Coulter.
The preliminary investigation indicates Coulter was driving south on Fern when her vehicle left the road, struck a pole and overturned.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
