SHREVEPORT, La. - Shreveport police are investigating after two homes were shot at Friday afternoon, damaging vehicles and screen doors.

The shooting happened around 1 p.m. on Matthew Place, according to police. SPD says the shooter drove into the area, got out of the vehicle, and began firing at the two residences.

KTBS 3’s Rylee Curry reports people were inside one of the homes at the time, including small children. Police confirm no one was injured.

Neighbors say the gunfire left them shaken and worried for their safety.

The area remains an active crime scene as investigators work to determine what led up to the shooting. No arrests have been made.
