Shreveport man dies in Red River Parish crash
COUSHATTA, La. -- A Shreveport man died Monday morning in a single vehicle crash in Red River Parish, Louisiana State Police said in a news release.

The victim, David Purvis Jr., 41, was ejected during the crash and died at the scene.
Troopers said Purvis was traveling east on state Highway 174 in a 1980 Ford F2000 when he ran off the road and overturned.
Impairment is not suspected, troopers said.
