Gentry Moore

SHREVEPORT, La. -- A Shreveport man was arrested Tuesday in connection with an investigation into child pornography, according to the Shreveport Police Department.

Gentry Moore, 42, of Bossier City, was arrested around 5:30 p.m. after an investigation found he allegedly was in possession of images depicting juveniles engaged in sexually explicit conduct, police said.

Moore is charged with two counts of pornography involving juveniles and booked into the Shreveport City Jail.

Police said the arrest stemmed from information developed through the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which focuses on identifying and investigating the online exploitation of children.

The Shreveport Police Department said it continues to work with state and federal agencies on investigations involving child sexual abuse material and the exploitation of children.

The investigation remains ongoing.
