Second arrest made in Caddo Parish death and vehicle theft investigation

On Wednesday, patrol deputies responded to a report of a female trespassing at a home on Nottingham Drive where a man had been found dead early that morning. Deputies identified the woman and subsequently conducted a follow-up investigation at a house on Louise Street, where they made contact with her. The woman initially claimed to be Halylee Ritter from Haughton.
During an interview with Det. Matt Purgerson, the woman allegedly confessed that she had been at the Nottingham Drive house. She was arrested and booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on one count of criminal trespassing. Additional charges related to the ongoing investigation are pending.
While being booked, the woman revealed that her true identity was Carly Ann Henderson, 30. Investigators discovered that she had presented identification belonging to another individual during the questioning. Consequently, she was also charged with possession of fraudulent documents for identification purposes.
The sheriff's office had already arrested Jeremy Young, 40, for also allegedly burglarizing the same house the day before. Young was arrested Tuesday at a truck stop on state Highway 1 in possession of a Jeep that was reported stolen from the dead man's home.
Young was booked into CCC on a charge of theft of a motor vehicle.
The circumstances of the death of the man who owned the home are still under investigation.
