The truck, displayed at the Regional Commerce Center, was purchased by the commission to bolster emergency response capabilities for southeastern Caddo Parish residents and the Port’s critical industrial infrastructure.
Officials stated the acquisition recognizes the district’s essential role in managing large-scale emergencies. The new fire truck is expected to significantly enhance the department's readiness to protect the community and support future operations at the Port.
