Overnight shooting in Shreveport sends man to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries

This happened at around 5 a.m. on Sunday at the Villa Del Lago Apartments on Milam Street.
Police were called to the area to investigate a report of shots being fired. When officer's arrived, they found that two cars had been hit by bullets and there was also damage to some of the apartments.
The only victim was an adult man who had left the scene in a private vehicle, before police arrived, on its way to Ochsner LSU Health hospital.
The victim had a bullet wound on the right thigh. KTBS was told the injuries are non-life threatening.
