One arrested, second suspect sought after Buncombe Road shooting in Shreveport
SHREVEPORT, La. – One person has been arrested and another is being sought after a shooting at a Buncombe Road residence that left a man wounded, according to the Shreveport Police Department.Police said officers responded Tuesday to Ochsner LSU Health after a man arrived at the emergency room with gunshot wounds to his lower legs. Investigators determined the shooting happened at a home in the 6000 block of Buncombe Road.Detectives allege Lia Lebum, 23, helped her brother, Jayden Jefferson, 20, carry out the shooting, which may have been preceded by a domestic-related incident.Lebum was arrested on a charge of principal to aggravated battery, while Jefferson is wanted on a warrant charging him with aggravated battery.Anyone with information about Jefferson's whereabouts is asked to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.Police said Jefferson should not be approached.
