NATCHITOCHES, La. — Two Natchitoches teenagers have been arrested and multiple stolen items recovered following a string of burglaries in the city's Historic District.

Natchitoches police booked Kurstine Harrisonm 18, and Dan White, 18, on six counts of simple burglary. Officers responding to Second Street on Friday established a perimeter, quickly capturing Harrison after a brief foot chase.

Following a joint operation with the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office, investigators executed search warrants on Monday, locating White inside a house. Authorities recovered stolen property, including two firearms.

Both suspects are being held in the local detention center.
