Natchitoches police arrest January homicide suspect
NATCHITOCHES, La. -- A Natchitoches man has been arrested in connection with a homicide that happened early this year in Natchitoches.

Natchitoches police charged Timothy Thomas, 27, with second-degree murder in the shooting death of Demetrick Kennedy, 46, of Baton Rouge.
The shooting happened happened on Jan. 11 in the 1400 block of Theophile Alley. Police arrived to find Kennedy suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Kennedy was taken to Natchitoches Regional Medical Center then flown to a Shreveport hospital, where he died on Jan. 13.
Thomas was booked Tuesday in to the LaSalle Corrections/Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.
