Motorcyclist dies from injuries sustained in Pines Road crash
SHREVEPORT, La. -- A motorcyclist involved in a crash Thursday has died from his injuries, Shreveport police said Monday in a news release.

The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. near St. Andrews Circle and Pines Road.
The driver suffered from life-threatening injuries and was taken to Ochsner LSU Health, where he died around 7:35 p.m. Sunday.
A witness told investigators the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Pines Road when he lost control, left the roadway and struck a driveway culvert.
SPD's crash investigators were notified about the death on Monday. Their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash continues.
The victim's identity will be released by the Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office.
