Minden man arrested on child exploitation charges
MINDEN, La. — A Minden man has been arrested following an investigation into child sexual abuse material and alleged online communications with minors.

According to investigators, Timothy Lee Gonzales, 36, of Louisville Road allegedly uploaded child sexual abuse material to a social media account. Authorities also found multiple sexually explicit conversations in which Gonzalez reportedly was communicating with children between the ages of 13 and 15.
Agents with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation began investigating after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
Gonzalez was taken into custody at his place of employment and booked into the Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.
He was charged with two counts of possession of child sexual abuse material and three counts of indecent behavior with juveniles. His bond was set at $450,000.
The Minden Police Department assisted the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation with the case.
The investigation remains ongoing.
