Man arrested, accused of shooting at Caddo Parish deputy

SHREVEPORT, La. - An 18-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting involving a Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office deputy on Wednesday.

CPSO arrested Daraylan Ray, charging him with attempted second-degree murder. Several law enforcement agencies were involved in searching for Ray.

The Sheriff's Office says Ray was found Wednesday afternoon at a businss on Industrial Loop near Interstate 20. He was taken into custody without incident.

Ray was booked in the Caddo Correctional Center.

The investigation remains ongoing.
