LSP arrests Natchitoches man for child rape
NATCHITOCHES, La. -- A Natchitoches man is behind bars following his arrest last week on a child rape charge, state police said Wednesday in a news release.

NATCHITOCHES, La. -- A Natchitoches man is behind bars following his arrest last week on a child rape charge, state police said Wednesday in a news release.
Glenn L. Salard, 63, was booked into the LaSalle Corrections/Natchitoches Parish Detention Center on June 16 on a charge of first-degree rape of a juvenile.
The state police Special Victims Unit arrested Salard after investigating a complaint about the alleged sexual abuse of a juvenile.
Salard was arrested on a warrant issued by the Natchitoches Parish District Court.
The investigation remains ongoing.
