Florida fugitive wanted on child sexual abuse material charges captured in Blanchard

Last week, the Shreveport Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a request from the Polk County Sheriff's Office in Florida regarding suspect Colby Crowson, who was believed to have left to the region.
Investigators tracked Crowson to the Town of Blanchard. Working with the Blanchard Police Department, officers took him into custody without incident on Monday.
Authorities are investigating whether he committed local offenses.
