Floor signing ceremony held for KTBS 3 St. Jude Dream Home

BOSSIER CITY, La. - The 36th KTBS 3 St. Jude Dream Home is under construction in Bossier City at 780 Duckwater Landing.

The annual floor signing ceremony was held Wednesday. Patients, sponsors, builders, and other contributors signed their names or left a positive message for the future winner of this year's KTBS 3 St. Jude Dream Home.

"We can proudly say we've been a part of all 36 dream homes, and each year it doesn't mean any more or less," said Trey McGee from Henson's Carpet One. "From the bottom of my heart, we appreciate St. Jude and everything that this community pours into it."

Donations made from ticket sales will go directly to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

The KTBS3 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway was created in 1991 by Dr. Donald Mack, a pediatric physician from Shreveport. Since then, KTBS 3 has helped raise millions to help ArkLaTex children in their fight against cancer. It's also inspired similar fundraisers across the nation.
