Fatal overnight shooting in Shreveport's Fox Crossing neighborhood
SHREVEPORT, La. - The Shreveport Police Department is searching for the person they say killed a man in the city's Fox Crossing neighborhood Saturday night.
SHREVEPORT, La. - The Shreveport Police Department is searching for the person they say killed a man in the city's Fox Crossing neighborhood Saturday night.
The incident started when two brothers got into an argument inside a home at 6212 N. Windermere Drive around 11:20 pm. After the argument moved outside, family members told police they heard a single gunshot.
When Shreveport police officers arrived at the scene, they found one brother on the lawn unconscious with a gunshot wound to his stomach. The other brother had left.
The victim was taken to Ochsner LSU Health, where he died from his injuries.
The suspect is described as a black male, who is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds. He is reportedly wearing a hoodie.
A drone unit was called to the scene to help with the search.
