Coroner identifies motorcyclist who died days after Shreveport-Barksdale Highway crash

The Caddo Parish coroner said Deion Allen, 33, of Shreveport, died Sunday at Ochsner LSU Health, where he was taken following the crash on Wednesday.
The crash happened just before 6 p.m. when Allen, who was driving a 2009 Suzuki motorcycle, hit a 2018 Lexus sedan as it was being driven through the intersection. The car's driver had a green arrow, police said.
The impact ejected Allen from the motorcycle. His injuries were initially believed to be minor, but he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police cited the driver of the Lexus for driving with a suspended license.
