SHREVEPORT, La. — Interstate 20 east is clear following a fatal collision Thursday evening near the Pines Road exit.

The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office has identified 26-year-old Cade Thielen as the man killed in the crash. According to investigators, Thielen first struck the side of an 18-wheeler near Pines Road. His vehicle was then struck by a second tractor-trailer.

Thielen was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Authorities confirmed that an autopsy has been ordered to further investigate the cause of death.

The roadway was cleared following the investigation at the scene.
