America 250

LOGANSPORT, La. - As we approach the 250th anniversary of America, KTBS 3/KPXJ CW 21 continues to celebrate this history of our nation.

From 1806 to 1821, much of DeSoto Parish was home to one of the only places in American history where people with absolutely no official government. The stretch of northwest Louisiana became known as no man's land. Settlers pay no taxes, no laws, and no sheriff.
