America 250

LOGANSPORT, La. - As we approach the 250th anniversary of America, KTBS 3/KPXJ CW 21 continues to celebrate this history of our nation.

DeSoto Parish is home to the Battle of Mansfield in April 1864. It was the last major Confederate victory of the Civil War.

Texas and Louisianans fought together to defeat the Union Army, advancing north along the Red River toward Shreveport.
