SHREVEPORT, La. — All Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles customer service centers will be closed on Monday to accommodate staff training and ongoing system modernization efforts.
The closure affects both state-run offices and third-party partners. Public Tag Agents and Auto Title Companies contracted with the OMV will be unable to process driver's license, reinstatement, vehicle registration, or title transactions through Monday.
Online services were also impacted over the weekend. The state's official website, expresslane.la.gov, and the LA Wallet digital portal were temporarily unavailable Saturday and Sunday.
Normal operations are expected to resume on Tuesday.
