Police arrest suspect in Farmer's Bank & Trust ATM robbery

TEXARKANA, Ark. — Police arrested a suspect in connection with the robbery of an automated teller machine at Farmer’s Bank & Trust.

Christopher Rogers was taken into custody on July 15 in connection with the incident in the 1100 block of Arkansas Boulevard.

Texarkana Arkansas Police Department detectives said they worked diligently to move the case forward, and they expressed appreciation for the community’s support as the active investigation continues.

TEXARKANA, Ark. — Two men robbed an ATM at a local bank Monday while it was undergoing maintenance, according to local police.

Officers with the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department responded to Farmer’s Bank & Trust on Arkansas Boulevard around 2 p.m. July 13. Authorities said two men approached a technician servicing the ATM and demanded money.

The suspects threatened the victim to gain access to the machine, leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash. Criminal Investigation Division detectives are currently reviewing surveillance footage and witness statements to identify the suspects.
